Reading your storage space estimate

The calculator adds up the floor space your belongings need when reasonably stacked, then compares it to the usable space in each SJ Storage unit. Vehicles are parked at the roll-up door; boxes and furniture fill in from the back wall — the way a real unit gets packed.

  • 12×30 powered indoor unit — 360 sq ft. A 10' wide by 12' high roll-up door swallows an RV, a boat on a trailer, or a large vehicle plus household goods — with low-amp outlets to trickle-charge batteries.
