Every storage facility in town quotes you a monthly rent. Almost none of them tell you what you are paying per square foot, and that is the number that actually lets you compare one unit to another. A $132 unit and a $176 unit sound far apart until you learn the first is 240 square feet and the second is 360. Do the division and the bigger unit is the better deal per foot. So I did the division for every enclosed unit that publishes an ongoing rate in Twin Falls, and I want to show you where SJ Storage lands, including the places where we do not win.

Where SJ Storage actually sits
I am not going to tell you we are the cheapest, because we are not. Twin Self Storage rents a 10x20 for $85, which works out to $0.43 a square foot and beats both of our units on price per foot and on monthly dollars. Glacier West's 8x20 drive-up is $102 against our $110 for the same footprint. If price per foot is the only thing you care about and you do not need power, those are real options and I would rather you know about them.
What our numbers do show is this. Our 12x30 at $0.58 a square foot is the cheapest powered indoor unit of its size that we found published in Twin Falls, and it is cheaper per foot than every drive-up unit of comparable size in the table above except one. The 12x30 is enclosed, indoors, and it has low-amp outlets in the unit for keeping a battery topped up, which is a combination we have not found published anywhere else in town. Our 8x20 container at $0.69 sits in the middle of the pack on price, and its advantage is not the rate, it is that the rate is the rate.
Which storage unit is cheapest in Twin Falls?
The lowest monthly price in town is a small locker at another facility, and if you are storing a few boxes that is the right call, not us. Our smallest unit is $110. The lowest price per square foot on an enclosed unit our size is Twin Self's 10x20 at $0.43. The lowest numbers you will see advertised anywhere, the ones under $40, are almost always one of two things: a first-month teaser that resets to a higher standard rate in month two, or an uncovered outdoor parking space. Both are legitimate, and both are easy to mistake for a permanent enclosed rate when you are scanning headlines. When you compare, compare the ongoing price of the same kind of unit.
What does a 10x20 storage unit cost in Twin Falls?
We do not rent a 10x20, so I will answer it straight rather than steer you. Among the enclosed 10x20 units I could verify at ongoing rates on September 22, 2026, the range ran from Twin Self at $85 to Spring Creek's drive-up at $160, with Glacier West and Storage Star Grandview both around $127 to $128 in between. That is $0.43 to $0.80 a square foot for the same 200 square feet, which is exactly why the per-foot number matters more than the sticker. If a 10x20 is what you need, one of those is probably your unit. If you are storing a vehicle you want to keep charged, or you want a rate that will read the same next year, that is the conversation where we come in.
When another facility is the better choice
If you need a 5x5 or a 5x10 for a small load, we do not have one and a locker elsewhere will cost you less. If you need climate control, we do not offer it and Bach, Spring Creek, Storage Corner and a few others do. If you need a gate that opens at 2 a.m., ours runs 6 in the morning to 10 at night, and several facilities in town are 24 hours. We would rather send you to the right unit than rent you the wrong one and hear about it later.
